Attorney-at-law (since 2018), a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University. He also completed the Ukrainian Law School organized by Jagiellonian University in cooperation with Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Lviv National Ivan Franko University.
Matuesz specializes in complex contracts in both domestic and international business transactions, with a particular focus on the TMT and IT sectors, intellectual property law, tax law, and employment law. He has extensive experience advising on various franchise models.
He has a background in interdisciplinary projects involving international cooperation between entities operating in both Poland and foreign jurisdictions (UK, USA, ASEAN). He has participated in projects related to software delivery and programming services, including in regulated industries in Poland and abroad (FinTech, state monopoly sectors, gambling industry).
He has advised on numerous projects related to the implementation and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and provided legal support for various e-commerce software projects.
He combines legal expertise with extensive tax knowledge, having significant experience in providing tax support services, including international tax settlements and related-party structures. He has advised several companies on applying tax incentives related to innovation (IP Box, R&D tax relief).
He conducts training courses on commercial contracts, IT contracts, employment and labor law as well as tax issues (particularly relating to the IT industry).
He gained his professional experience at renowned law firms and tax consulting companies.He is fluent in English, proficient in legal Ukrainian, and speaks Russian
